SPORTSMAN'S PARTY RETURNS IN 2009
For years, the annual Sportsman's Party was one of the hottest tickets at the Wings Over the Prairie Festival.
The event ended in 2006 when the venue where the Sportsman's Party was held closed. Now, after a 2-year absence, the Sportsman's Party returns better than ever.
The Sportsman's Party will kick off at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, when the live music starts. It will be held at Events Etcetera, located at 946 W. Washington Street extended in the old Gator Bar.
This year's entertainment will be the band Tragikly White. Formed in 1993, Tragikly White has earned a reputation as the South's premier dance band, playing a variety of hit tunes from the '70s to modern classics and always delivering a top-notch show!
Rick Martin, Gerry Smith and Luke Tibbett are all gifted musicians, each of whom has had a major impact on the Little Rock music scene.
Their combined talents have made them one of the most popular and highly sought-after touring bands in the Southeastern United States.
Tragikly White was just ranked "No. 1 Club Act in Arkansas" on MySpace.com.
The group has also been voted "Best Band in the Mid-South" by Little Rock radio station KROC 103.7, Best Cover Band by Little Rock Free Press magazine, and is consistently listed in the Arkansas Times' annual "Best Of" edition as one of their home state's favorite live acts.
