The Lucky Duck Youth Duck Calling Clinic is one of many events of the 75th annual World's Championship Duck Calling Contest and Wings Over the Prairie Festival.
Sponsored by Farmers & Merchants Bank, the duck calling lessons are taught by former World Champion Duck Caller and Champion of Champions Duck Caller Butch Richenback.
He is also the former mayor of the City of Stuttgart and the founder of Rich-N-Tone Duck Calls.
Classes are for children in 1st-grade through 5th-grade. Registration is $10 per student.
The Lucky Duck Youth Duck Calling Clinic includes 18 lessons to be held every evening on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Classes begin in mid-October and are held at the RNT Duck Call building on Highway 63 next to Mack's Prairie Wings.
Each student has the chance to compete in the Lucky Duck Youth Duck Calling Contest on the Stuttgart Stage downtown at the Wings Over the Prairie Festival.
The duck calling clinic is taught every year by Richenback as a way to get young people involved in the sport of duck calling.
